Popular Street Food Pav Bhaji served with Tawa Pulav & Potato Wedges on a Sizzler Plate

A Sizzler Plate and lot of ideas! Fajita Sizzler or Pasta Sizzler or Tikka Sizzler or Brownie Sizzler or Chinese Sizzler? Well, so many options and so much of confusion… Thought of spicing up my sizzler plate with all-time favourite and famous street food of Mumbai – Pav Bhaji.

For those who are new to this dish, it is a wonderful spicy tangy mixture of mashed vegetables in thick chunky gravy served with a soft white bread roll. Though the dish has many variations like Cheese Pav Bhaji, Kaali Pav Bhaji, Fried Pav Bhaji and many more, the authentic Pav Bhaji stands out any time, any where and at any place with lots of butter of course.

Well, to elaborate the menu and make it a complete meal, I have jazzed it up with Tava Pulav (a vegetable pulav cooked on a flat griddle with a hot kick of pav bhaji masala) and potato wedges (again evergreen side dish which goes well with any cuisine. Do you know, potatoes and tomatoes are so versatile veggies that they go well with any dish, cuisine or menu? Wow!
