A restaurant hit, kids favourite and a perfect summer milkshake! Oh, I so love Oreo Milkshake. I had it for the first time at Byron, Covent Garden, London and Wow! Super crumbly, super thick and super oreolicious! Since then, I often make this milkshake at home and it has always been my instant pick for my weekend breakfast, a quick 5 pm shake or a midnight shake while binging on Netflix!
I made this today evening while I lazing out in the sun and here is the popular recipe –
Ingredients
- 1 Cup of Vanilla Ice Cream
- 1 cup Full Fat Milk
- 6-8 Oreo cookies
- 1 Heaping Tablespoon of Chocolate Sauce
- Heavy Cream and 2 cookies for garnish
Method –
- Crush the cookies smooth in a blender. Pour milk, ice-cream and chocolate sauce and blend well all the ingredients until combined completely.
- Pour your milkshake into a glass and topped with up with crumbled or crushed cookies and cream
(I really like to ground my cookies into a powder and then add ice cream and milk. However if you like to have a crumbled chunkier shake, add cookies briefly towards the end after mixing milk and ice cream)

I usually choose for a standard milkshake with 4 basic ingredients, oreo cookies, vanilla ice cream, milk and chocolate sauce. However, you can add your own variations, the choice is yours. Make it a little thick by adding more ice cream or cream, make it little chocolatey by adding more cookies or chocolate sauce or powder or add banana or strawberries for a fruity oreo milkshake or add Nutella or coffee for a distinct flavour!
