Spring Rolls, Mushroom Manchurian & Veg Momos

When suddenly the sunny weather in London turns a little warm, windy and cloudy, your shorts are replaced by pyjamas, your evening walks are changed to morning walks, and your dinner plans go for a toss! I was thinking to make a nice hearty Pasta with Pimms, but this gusty weather didn’t suit the menu at all! Thought of making a nice warm cheesy vegetable bake but again didn’t have all the ingredients and honestly didn’t want to queue up at Sainsbury’s! So instead of choosing an Italian cuisine, I travelled to Indo-Chinese & Tibetan cusinine

The best thing about Oriental cuisines is its quick, convenient and easy to make, you just need the ingredients ready in your kitchen. Well, I didn’t have noodles in my food cupboard, but fortunately had other few ingredients to whip up a quick dinner. So decided to make Veg Momos, Mushroom Manchurian and Momos Chutney. Well am I missing something? Oh yes, my spring rolls in freezer! I quickly knead the dough for momos, defrosted spring rolls and fried it, chopped vegetables for momos and Manchurian, and whoopee! Dinner is ready in about 60-70 minutes. Not bad!

So, presenting – Szechuan Veg Spring Rolls, Mushroom Manchurian Veg Momos served with Tangy-spicy Momos Chutney. A perfect menu in this surprisingly dull, a lil cold and dreary weather. Enjoy!
