Kare Burosu – The Ultimate One Pot Meal at Wagamama

So here comes my 1st blog post. ‘First’  is always special, isn’t it? First day at work, first experiment or even as simple as a first write up. While browsing through my recent food pics, I was not sure what to post first? Something really dear to my taste palates, hmm. Here it is, one of the most veg-vegan friendly Asian restaurants in The UK – Wagamama. Well, that’s such a delight for a vegetarian like me. I was always comfortable with Wagamama’s Yaki Soba but hey, once they rolled out a special veg-vegan menu, I was simply thrilled.

Here is my favourite from the restaurant – ‘Kare Burosu’ – A nice soupy one pot meal having udon noodles as main base coupled with shichimi coated chunky tofu and grilled mixed mushrooms. The soupiness of this bowl is swirled with a curried vegetable broth and embraced with pea shoots, carrot, chilli and coriander. I specially adore this dish in winters, a perfect dinner option in a chilly snowy weather.

It is fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. I do like to have this meal at leisure slurping those thick tube noodles with a burst of curried flavors. Though being a vegetarian, I am not a big fan of tofu, but hey, I cant give a miss when it comes to Karu Burosu.  If you do like spiciness in food, add a little bit of shichimi spice available on your table.

Enjoy folks!
